It started with a single typewriter.
I wasn’t planning to collect them.
I was simply drawn to the way they feel—mechanical, deliberate, full of small details that modern tools tend to erase. One machine led to another, and somewhere along the way I began to wonder if there might be something like a “perfect” typewriter.
I haven’t found it yet.
A few machines have already passed through my hands. Some stayed for a while, some moved on to new owners. Each one added something to the search—another idea of what “good” might mean.
This shop is a natural extension of that process. Every typewriter here is carefully chosen, checked, and prepared with genuine attention. I only offer machines I would be happy to keep myself.
The search continues, quietly and without hurry.
And along the way, there are always a few remarkable machines worth sharing.
